The Art Behind the Design

Every Floral Scroll Jewelry Cabinet is painted entirely by hand in our Michigan studio by artist Barbara Downey, using a process she has refined over nearly 30 years. The colorful background wash and bold graphic scrollwork are applied as two distinct layers — creating depth and richness that reveals itself differently depending on the light. No two pieces are ever quite identical. That’s not a flaw — that’s the point.
