The Art Behind the Design

Every Leaves Jewelry Cabinet is painted entirely by hand in our Michigan studio by artist Barbara Downey, using a process she has refined over nearly 30 years. The abstract leaf pattern is painted freehand — bold, graphic, and entirely unique to each piece. No two pieces are ever quite identical. That’s not a flaw — that’s the point.

The Frame

The black distressed finish is applied by hand in our Michigan studio — wearing edges down to reveal warm wood beneath. Against the intricate abstract leaf pattern the dark frame adds depth and drama. At 2¾” deep the Cabinet mounts flush to your wall with two attached picture hangers on the felt-lined back.
