The Technique

Barb paints each Aida Monogram by hand using a mysterious process developed over nearly 30 years — part American folk art tradition, part closely guarded studio secret. The design lives on the fiberglass screen itself, not on paper or canvas behind it. No two pieces are ever quite identical. That’s not a flaw — that’s the point.
